Recipe of the week – Turkey burgers with fries
Ingredients (Makes 4 burgers):
400g of Turkey mince
Large lettuce leaf (sweet crunch lettuce)
1 tomat
1/4 Red onion
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1 tsp Reduced Salt Soy Sauce
1 clove garlic
1 egg
1 large sweet potato (2 ppl)
Rosemary
Basil
Parsley
Garlic Powder
Olive oil spray
Method:
1. Pre heat your oven to 180. Peel and slice your sweet potato into fries or slices (we used a slicer but you can cut yourself). Place them on a tray with baking paper sprayed with a little olive oil, spray a little more olive oil on top and sprinkle some rosemary and garlic powder. Put in oven for 15-20 min checking on them and depends how crispy you want them.
2. Put turkey mince, red onion, mustard, soy sauce, garlic, egg and seasoning into a large bowl and mix together. Make into 4 burgers.
3. Place on pre heated fry pan sprayed with a little olive oil and cook for about 8 mins each side.
4. Wrap turkey burger in lettuce leaf with sliced tomato and serve with sweet potato chips.
