Hi. Phil the fat burner here and in today’s video I’m going to talk about the 5 keys to a successful body transformation. Number one is weight training. With weight training, we’re talking about building lean muscle. For every pound of lean muscle you put on your body, you burn an extra 50 calories a day at rest. If you were to put on 10 pounds of lean muscle, you would burn an extra 500 calories a day. I want you to think of muscle as a fat burning machine.

Number 2 is cardio. For cardio, I want you to think high intensity interval training or sprint training, or high intensity circuit training. It’s been scientifically proven that high intensity training will boost your metabolism for days after the workout, which means that you’ll burn more calories than you would just doing steady state cardio.

Number 3 is nutrition. For nutrition, we want to increase lean protein, which is going to be our muscle builder. We want to decrease processed carbohydrates, which are more likely to be stored as body fast. We want to increase vegetables and fruits that are low in calories, and increase healthy fats.

Number 4 is accountability, which is really important for most people and that’s where they lack. For accountability, it’s best to have a coach or a mentor, help you stay on track towards your goals. The way you can stay on track that we use in our program is by keeping a food diary, tracking your measurements every month, and also tracking the weights that you lift.

Number 5 is support. Having a support network around you. Support network can be training partners. They can be your family, or it could be your friends. In our small group training program, we have many people in the program. They all train together in small groups. They support each other. We have a Facebook group of people who are like minded and on the same fitness journey.

For those interested in small group training I’m offering a FREE FITNESS TEST DRIVE so you don’t make any decisions without putting my services to the test first.

This includes an assessment of your fitness goals, a 45 minute small group training session and nutrition consultation explaining how you can lose that unwanted fat for good.
