This is an amazing transformation from my client Daniel. When Daniel came to see me he was in his mid forties, hadn’t exercised in years, had a really poor diet.
In our first consultation session after about five minutes he almost passed out and we had to stop the session. I think at this point Daniel realized just how unfit he was and I think this was the main motivation and the drive to get back into shape and improve his fitness levels.
In a space of six months Daniel lost 20 kilos and the way we did this is by incorporating heavy weight training and high intensity circuit training. With his diet which was a lot of take out food and a lot of processed food, we got rid of the processed food, had a diet that mainly consisted of lean meat, vegetables and fruits and healthy fats.
When Daniel wasn’t training with me he would also come into the gym and he would do half an hour to forty minutes of interval training on the treadmill. He also started riding his bike to and from work which took him about half an hour to complete.
After he started seeing results that was really motivating him to get fitter and fitter so he started entering fun runs. He started with 5 kilometers and up to 10 kilometers. Then eventually a half marathon and eventually a marathon.
He would train with me three times a week and was really highly motivated. Really high energy type of client. It’s a transformation that I’m truly proud of.
